    Automatically apply CIS deductions to subcontractor payments
    The CIS module replaces the standard Intacct payment process with a customisable screen which separates out deduction and payment amounts. Payments raised automatically calculate any CIS deductions due, raise as an AP Adjustment and allocate to the payment. Recharges can be allocated to credit an invoice while still incurring a deduction.

    Verify subcontractors with HMRC
    Verify your subcontractors with HMRC to confirm if they are registered with the CIS scheme and at what rate. Tax treatment history is stored so that back-dated payments will use the correct rate.

    Generate and submit CIS Monthly Returns to HMRC
    Monthly returns can be generated to summarise all payments to labour + materials and deductions. Non CIS transactions are reported to help identify potential coding errors. Adjustments can be made to make any manual corrections. When ready, the return can be submitted directly to HMRC.

    Produce payment and deduction statements for subcontractors
    Customisable payment and deduction statements can be produced for one or more periods to send to subcontractors.

    Report on outstanding invoices after deduction for better cash flow visibility
    An enquiry screen is available to report on outstanding AP transactions after deductions have been subtracted.

    Fully integrated into Intacct
    The CIS module sits entirely within Intacct menus and no external logins are required. Feature access can be controlled from Intacct’s own user/role based permissions. Settings can be configured per-entity for separate monthly returns and HMRC submissions.
     

    System Requirements:
    To enable this integration, a Sage Intacct Construction Subscription IS required.

    However, Sage Intacct users are not required to purchase their own Sender ID via the Sage Intacct Web Services - Developer License.
