Our integration creates Deposit Journal Entries in Sage Intacct for contributions and contribution batches entered in Gabriel. Parishes will setup a Sage Intacct Web Services account and enter that information within the Church Maintenance screen in Gabriel.
In addition, the user will provide the default Sage Intacct Journal and Location for the entries coming from Gabriel. Once this is setup, the user can import cash and revenue accounts to be assigned to each of the Gabriel Funds within the Fund Raising Module in Gabriel.
An Attributes tab also allows for tagging Gabriel Funds with dimensions that are defined in Sage Intacct.
A new Deposit function within Gabriel Fund Raising allows the user to select individual contributions and contribution batches by date for posting to Sage Intacct. Pressing the Post button triggers the creation of the appropriate journal entries over in Sage Intacct in real time.
Gabriel is a cloud based system that runs in the user's internet browsers. The only requirement to use this integration is that the parish must have an active Gabriel Subscription and Sage Intacct Web Services.
